It all started in December 2005 when Martin Pierlot and Jean-Michel Vilain decided they would make a game called Faëria. One of their original goals was to make a game that they would love playing infinitely, another was to let the players be the creative force of the game. Later, Jen Berger joined them to help the game get a visual identity. Together they are Abrakam and making Faëria is obviously what gives sense to their day.
Their studio is located in Liège, a city in the heart of Europe. It’s their place, where they code, make art and play their own game.
Note that Faëria has never received any fundings, instead it has received passion and countless beers.
